Adding Characters – Characters Properties

You can’t assign Characters to a shot until you define a Character. The Character Properties screen allows you to record all the necessary information about a Character so you can begin assigning the Character to different shots.

Give the Character a Name, which will be used to assign him/her to a shot, and give a detailed character Description  (both thier appearence and personality). Identify the Actor, once cast, and his/her Contact Information. Note whether the actor is picked up at Home, at a hotel, or if they are on their own using the Remarks pull-down list.

If a Stunt Double will be used, identify them with Contact Information .

You should also record the Preparation Time required for the actor before shooting, including time required in makeup and wardrobe. (Check off if there is Makeup Required). You can also record the Cost associated with this character (Total for the project of both the actor and the stunt double).

Adding Characters – Characters Diagrams

Here you can import one or more JPG images representing the diagrams for the character.

The Add button allows you to choose a file from disk. The Remove button removes the image from your breakdown, you can however, choose to save a copy before you remove it.
