Generating Call Sheets

The call sheet is and essential part of the filmmaking process. A copy of this report send to all the players required for a shoot will ensure that everyone is on the same page, and knows what is expected for the shoot.

First indicate who will be designated as the Production Manager for the Shoot. Record the Date of the shoot and the Number of Shooting Days (including all previous shooting days plus this one). Record the time the crew is required on set in the Crew Call field and the time the cast is required in the Shoot Call field. Indicate the Weather (temperature, Probability of Precipitation and daylight hours) and the name of the Nearest hospital (the phone number is a good idea too. I know is sounds morbid, but you are better safe than sorry).

Then select the shots you want to shoot that day by checking each shot in the tree view. You can narrow the scope of the tree view to shot in a specific location by Choosing a location in the drop list provided.

Then click the "Ok" button to generate the report. You can then print copies to distribute or save a copy and email it to the participants.
